No-Makeup Makeup Look for Fall: Ladies’ Night Edition

No Makeup Makeup For Fall Girls Night

Girls’ night has always been my favorite part of the week (whose isn’t?), and now that my favorite yoga spot has safely opened up again, my girlfriends and I have been hitting the studio like crazy! From yoga to a simple and safe happy hour, or craft night in the backyard breeze (yes, fall crafts have already commenced), I’m sharing three subtle yet essential beauty tips that are easy to maintain while on-the-go from one fall festivity to the next!

Pre-workout makeup routine

Pre-workout makeup routine

Sometimes, a little goes a long way, and that’s definitely true when it comes to makeup and working out. The last thing you want to do is clog your pores with makeup before a sweat sesh, so I like to keep it simple with a fresher face for fresher skin!

What I use:

  • I apply the Arlington Cream Concealer under my eyes to brighten up my face (use whatever shade fits your skin best!). If it’s that time of the month or you’re experiencing a breakout, this concealer is light enough to dab over blemishes without clogging your pores for natural-looking coverage, too!
  • You will never catch me without a lip balm or tinted lip color on my lips, so I am forever using the Perfectly Pink Lip Cheek to add a natural pop of color and moisture to my lips.

Pro tip: If you’re like me and tend to bring along a tote that doubles as a purse between workouts and happy hour, we’ve got the best tips on how to pack your gym bag like a pro to eliminate a bulky bag!

Pre-workout routine

Post-workout makeup routine

As you can see by this photo, I was a sweaty mess from my hair down to my feet after our hour plus yoga class. After lathering dry shampoo into my hair (my friends are blessed with less oily hair than I have), my makeup routine to freshen up for wine with the ladies in the backyard is simple and oh so effective.

What I use:

  • First things first: Shine Control Powder. This product is essential when freshening up after a workout. I use a Subtl Beauty Applicator to apply it all over my face and under my chin to remove access oil. It’s light and translucent, so there’s no worrying about clogged pores or skin tone matching here!
  • Next, I reapplied the Cream Concealer under my eyes, as well as a dot on my chin and nose to give a very slight, natural-looking “contour” to my face. If my face is looking dull after a class, this product will help brighten up those spots, too!
  • I finished off my look by reapplying the Perfectly Pink Lip Cheek to my lips, but this time I added a few extra layers to achieve a brighter lip color. I also applied this product to the balls of my cheeks to give off a nice, natural rosy glow!

Pro tip: If you left your dry shampoo at home, Shine Control Powder is a quick and easy alternative! Don’t believe us? Check it out in action!

The final product

Final product: selfie-ready and more importantly, ready for wine in the backyard with the ladies!
