Hi everyone, it's Sharon Jayy for Subtle Beauty. In this video, I'll be showing you how to recreate Rihanna's iconic makeup look from her Super Bowl performance. To start off, I'm keeping it simple by using moisturizer and focusing on my under-eye area to prevent creasing. If you want your makeup to last all day, use a long-lasting primer. Then, I'll clean up my eyebrows with a gel and fill them in a bit. Afterward, I'll use a thin layer of foundation and blend it out. Next, I'll use a concealer on my under-eye area, chin, and forehead, and blend it out with a brush.
I'll add another layer of concealer under my eyes and blend it out with a brush. Moving on to bronzer, I'm using the shade Espresso with a regular bronzer brush, applying it to my cheeks and a bit on my forehead. I'll use a blending tool to blend it out or sometimes a brush depending on the day. To add depth, I'll contour my nose and apply a bit of concealer under my cheekbones, blending it out with a brush. Then, I'll use Shine control powder under my eyes and on areas where I applied concealer, using a puff to apply it generously.
I'll apply another layer of concealer under my eyes and blend it out using a brush. For bronzer, I'm using Espresso shade and applying it to my cheeks and forehead with a regular bronzer brush. I'll blend it out with either a blending tool or a brush, depending on how I feel. To add more dimension, I'll contour my nose and apply a touch of concealer under my cheekbones, blending it out with a brush. Lastly, I'll use Shine Control Powder under my eyes and wherever I applied concealer, using a puff to apply it generously.
Next, I'll apply blush in the shade Day Trip at Dawn using my Stack BFF .
I'll make sure to apply it lightly, just enough for a natural look.
Oops, I forgot to do my eyes first, as usual. Let's begin with the eyes now. I'll use my bronzer as a base on my lids, applying it to the entire lid.
Her eye look is quite simple and not too dramatic. It consists of shimmer, bronzer, and a touch of liner. Moving on, I'll use the Sunset eyeshadow duo in a non-shimmer shade. This shadow has a hint of red, which is also present on her lids.
I've applied the eyeshadow, just a touch of it. To ensure it's blended out at the top, I'll use a beauty blender and gently blend it out while lifting my eyes. Next, I'll apply a shimmer shade from the Jelly eyeshadow duo to my lids, just like she has. There we go, it looks perfect.
I'll apply the eyeshadow to the area where my crease starts and blend it out with my other brush. Although she has liner and lashes, I prefer to apply setting spray after I'm done with them. So, let's finish up the rest of my makeup first. Then we can move on to finishing the eyes. Next, I'll apply my highlighter in the shade Champagne to the tip and bridge of my nose. I'll blend out the highlighter with my finger and apply it a little bit on the inner corners and under my brow bone. I'll also do a little on my chin and forehead, making sure it's all blended. A tiny bit on my cheekbones too.
With the face makeup done, I'll wait for it to dry and then get my big lashes, similar to what Rihanna wore. I'll add some eyeliner, doing a little wing on the side and cleaning it up. I'll add a bit of eyeliner to my waterline too.
Moving on to lips, Rihanna had a stunning red lip look, so I'll use my lip and cheek in the shade Riveting Red. I'll start by lining it first and making sure to clean it up to avoid messiness. This shade is so pigmented and beautiful. I even found a jacket in my closet that matches what she wore. And there you have it, the final look inspired by Rihanna's Super Bowl performance. I'll blend it out using my finger, focusing on the inner corners and under my brow at the brow bone. Then, I'll add a little on my chin and forehead and blend everything out to make sure it looks seamless.
