Rachel here, founder of Subtl. I wanted to make sure I took the time to personally thank you today!
For those of you new this year, we’re a small business located in Pittsburgh, PA. I started working on stakable makeup in 2017 and officially launched Subtl from my basement in 2019. 2024 marks our 6th year in business and what an epic year it has been!
If you’ve been here for a while, you know I like to take the opportunity to reach out on Small Business Saturday to thank you for your continued support.
2024 was a big one… our first full year with Stak 2.0! To recap, we expanded our Lip and Cheek shades in Feb, launched the Vacation Collection and Roadtrip Collection over the summer, and introduced our very first product outside of the stak in October - the 3-in-1 Brow BFF!
I’ll admit, I was nervous all year about how Brow BFF would be received. While all of our products are typically stakable, brow just didn’t make sense in the Stak no matter how hard we tried, and providing you with convenient beauty solutions has always been my primary mission. But I shouldn’t have worried—you were so understanding and supportive of our approach and I’m so grateful for your trust in me.
While it wouldn’t have been too obvious from your POV, Subtl did go through a ton of change behind the scenes – we welcomed some incredible new members to our team, changed warehouses (again!) and planned the most spectacular 2025. I’m not kidding – you’re going to LOVE what we have in store for next year. 👀
6 years…I can’t believe it’s been 6 years! Whether you’ve been here for all 6, or just discovered us this year, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your support.
As a thank you, we’re celebrating Small Business Saturday a little differently this year; instead of a flat discount like we usually do, we decided that the more you stak, the more you can save (up to 30%!)
