At Subtl, we knew powder deserved better.
Rethinking Powder from the Ground Up
We set out to strike a delicate balance: a formula that could stretch across a wide shade range, feel lightweight on the skin, deliver real coverage, and still be infused with hydrating ingredients. The kind of powder that doesn’t just sit on your skin, but moves with it.
That vision required a complete redefinition of what powder could be. Even down to the packaging. To support a larger fill weight, we reimagined the BB Powder pod, almost doubling its size compared to our other pods.
Four Years in the Making
It took nearly four years of development before we felt BB Powder was truly ready. When we finally sent it out to a small group of customers to test, the response was immediate and overwhelming.
“Look at how perfect that color match is.”
“Instant airbrush. Wow.”
Before long, testers were hooked, emailing and texting us for more samples to hold them over until launch. That’s when we knew: this powder needed to be in the Stak, fast.
