My Summer-Ready Makeup Routine Using the Glow Edit
Summer makeup should feel light, fresh, and effortless. That’s exactly why I’ve been loving the Glow Edit from my Subtl Stak. It gives me everything I need for that sun-kissed, glowy look. Here’s how I use it for my everyday summer routine.
Start With a Glowy Base
The secret to radiant skin starts before makeup. I always begin by moisturizing and applying SPF. Lately, I’ve been mixing my tinted sunscreen with glowy dew drops. That little combo already gives my skin a bronzed, healthy look before I even reach for concealer.
Keep Concealer Light
In the summer, less is definitely more. I dab on just a touch of Cream Concealer to cover any blemishes or areas where I need a bit of extra coverage. It’s all about keeping things breathable.
Lip Glaze as Blush? Yes.
While the Glow Edit doesn’t include a Lip Glaze by default, I added one to my Stak and have been using it as blush. It’s super dewy, hydrating, and perfect for hot days — especially during this 100° heat wave. The lip glaze melts into my skin and leaves me with the ultimate sun-kissed flush.
My Holy Grail: The Bronzing Balm
Next up is my absolute favorite — the Bronzing Balm. This product is a summer essential for me. It gives that rich, bronzed glow without having to spend time in the sun. It blends like a dream, feels like butter, and melts right into my skin. I’m obsessed with how natural it looks.
That Luminous Highlighter Glow
For Highlighter, I stick with the cream formula from the Glow Edit. It literally looks like the sun is catching my skin in the best way. Even before I blend it in, I can see that radiant glow coming through.
Shimmery Eyes in One Step
I keep eyes simple. I use the shimmery side of the Eyeshadow Duo and sweep it across my lids. It adds a soft glow and makes me feel put together without a lot of effort.
Makeup Made for Real Life
One of my favorite things about Subtl is the story behind it. The creator designed the Stak with real-life moments in mind — like adult sleepovers or not wanting to lug around a full makeup bag. Everything in the stack is TSA approved, which means this is literally all I pack when I travel.
Final Touches
I finish my look with a little more Lip Glaze and a few swipes of brown mascara. Brown gives me definition without looking harsh, which is exactly the vibe I want for summer.
And that’s it — my full glowy, tan summer makeup look using just the Glow Edit. It’s easy, compact, and makes me feel radiant without piling on product. If you’re into makeup minimalism and glowing skin, this one’s for you.
