Easy Holiday Glam Using My Subtl Stak
Hey guys, it’s Keira! Welcome back to the SUBTL YouTube channel. Today I’m walking you through an easy holiday makeup look using my SUBTL Stak. This look was inspired by a quick TikTok I saw that felt festive, elevated, and surprisingly simple. I loved the eyeshadow tones and immediately knew I wanted to try it.
I really believe in having a signature holiday makeup look. Something you can rely on for parties, dinners, or last minute plans that still feels special. Let’s get into it.
Starting with the Base
I started with a light foundation base using the NARS Light Reflecting Foundation. From there, I went in with my Cream Concealer in shade 004N to brighten under my eyes and cover any redness. For holiday looks, I like having a full base even if it still feels lightweight.
I usually blend concealer with my fingers, but I'm currently obsessed with the new 4-Piece Brush Set and the stippling brush works beautifully for this step.
Bronzing and Contouring with the Bronzing Balm
Next, I went in with the Bronzing Balm. Lately I’ve been switching between Biscotti and Caramel, especially in the winter. Biscotti has a slightly cooler tone on me, which I’ve been loving for contour, while Caramel adds warmth back into the skin.
I used the stippling brush to apply Biscotti, adding warmth and carving out the face. A helpful tip if you’re newer to bronzer or contour is to think about creating a large number three along the perimeter of your face, starting at the forehead, moving to the cheek, and finishing at the jawline.
After that, I layered a bit of Caramel higher on the cheeks to add dimension. I also used Biscotti on my nose, applying it with my finger along the sides and blending lightly through the center.
Lip Prep with Spiced Cranberry
Before moving on, I applied Spiced Cranberry Lip Balm. This balm is tinted, smells amazing, and is perfect to apply early so your lips are hydrated by the time you finish the rest of your makeup. This was actually my first time trying it, and I was immediately obsessed.
Adding Color with Nothing But Nectar
Now for my favorite part. I went in with the new Nothing But Nectar Lip and Cheek. This shade has quickly become one of my favorites, right up there with Mauve in the Maldives.
I used the stippling brush directly in the pan and started working it into the cheeks, blending everything together with the bronzer underneath. I brought it up toward my temples, across my forehead, and added a little to the tip of my nose. This step really warms up the face and pulls the whole base together, especially during the winter months.
At this point my skin looked glowy, maybe a little too glowy, but that’s where BB Powder comes in.
Setting the Base with BB Powder
I used the new angled dense brush to apply BB Powder. I started with Fair 2N to brighten the center of my face and tapped it under my eyes, on my eyelids, and on my chin. The difference was immediate. Everything looked more seamless and polished.
Next, I went in with BB powder in Light 2W. This shade is warmer and helps me look less pale in the winter. I applied it around the perimeter of my face, down my neck, and even lightly on my ears. After powdering, I added a bit more Nothing But Nectar back onto the cheeks since powder naturally softens the color.
Creating the Icy Holiday Eye
For the eyes, I applied a small piece of tape at an angle to help guide the shape. Using the Flight Eyeshadow Duo, I placed the matte shade on the outer corner, the shimmer shade in the center, and Gin Fizz Highlighter on the inner portion of the lid for a light, icy effect.
This was definitely a trust the process moment. After blending, I added more shimmer and softened everything until it felt cohesive. The end result was a cool toned winter eye that still felt wearable.
I finished the eyes with a sharp winged black liner, using the tape as a guide, touched up my Concealer and BB Powder where needed, added a little Apricot Avenue Powder Blush, and finished with mascara.
The Perfect Holiday Lip
For lips, I used Bordeaux on the Go Lip and Cheek with a lip brush to line and slightly fill in my lips. I left the center lighter and topped everything off with Spiced Cranberry Lip Balm. The result was the perfect holiday lip that felt polished, festive, and incredibly hydrating.
The Final Look
And that’s the finished holiday glam. I love how this turned out and honestly the Spiced Cranberry Lip Balm alone boosted my mood. The best part is that everything fits inside my Stak. I can clip it into the bag charm, attach it to my purse, and easily touch up throughout the night!
I’ll see you next time. Happy Holidays!
