A Full Face Using the New Subtl Four Piece Brush Set
Hi everyone and welcome back to the SUBTL YouTube channel. I’m Tabatha, and today I’m walking you through a full face makeup routine using our new and improved 4-Piece Brush Set. I am breaking down exactly which brush to use, what each one is designed for, and how to apply your products so everything blends seamlessly into the skin.
This set was designed to simplify your routine while still giving you professional looking results.
Brush No. 20: Concealer
I start with my base using Brush No. 20, our dense face brush. This brush is perfect for packing in cream products and melting them into the skin.
I use this brush to apply Concealer:
-
Under the eyes
-
On the chin
-
Anywhere I need extra coverage
I always tap the product into the skin instead of dragging the brush. Tapping helps prevent streaks and allows the concealer to blend more naturally into the complexion.
Brush No. 45: Bronzer and Blush
Next, I move on to Brush No. 45, our angled brush. I use this with my Bronzing Balm.
Because the bronzing balm is highly pigmented, I first tap it onto the back of my hand to evenly distribute the product. Then I gently tap it under my cheekbones, into my temples, and along my hairline. I also bring it to my forehead, jawline, and even lightly onto my ears so everything looks seamless and natural.
With the same brush, I apply Lip and Cheek in Nothing But Nectar. I place it slightly above where I applied my bronzer and tap it in, blending upward toward my temples. Any leftover product on the brush gets lightly swept down the bridge of my nose for an easy, natural looking nose contour.
Brush No. 35: BB Powder and Highlighter
Once my cream products are down, I grab Brush No. 35, the fluffy tapered brush, and go in with my BB Powder.
I swirl the brush into the powder, tap off the excess, and apply it all over my face to add coverage and set everything in place. I also bring this onto my eyelids since I have oily lids and like a little extra coverage there.
With the same brush, I use the shimmery side of the Jelly Eyeshadow Duo as a powder highlight. This brush is perfect for highlighter, and it gives the most beautiful glow on the tops of the cheekbones. Eyeshadow works amazingly well as a highlight and is such an underrated trick.
Brush No. 15: Eyeshadow
To finish the eyes, I use Brush No. 15, the dual ended eyeshadow brush.
Using the fluffy side, I apply the matte shade from the Jelly Eyeshadow Duo into my crease and outer corner using light windshield wiper motions. I always tap off excess product first so I can build slowly.
Then I switch to the flat side of the brush and apply the shimmery shade directly onto my lids. This creates a soft, quick, and polished eyeshadow look in just a few steps.
Final Touches
To finish everything off, I tap Lip and Cheek in Nothing But Nectar onto my lips for a cohesive, monochromatic look.
And that is a full face using the SUBTL 4-Piece Brush Set. Each brush is designed to work with multiple products so your routine stays simple without sacrificing results.
If you have any questions about which brush to use or how to apply your products, leave them in the comments below. Until next time, bye.
