tips for making your look last throughout hot summer days
creams, then powders
This has always been a trick I've done, whether it is warm or cold outside, if I want my makeup to last, I layer cream products with the powder on top to sort of reinforce it and make it last a bit longer for me. So for blush, I like to add lip & cheek first, and then set it with a powder blush.
setting spray before setting powder
Before you apply your setting powder, whatever setting spray you use, apply it then when you have your cream base, so it'll lock it in place. I know it seems kind of backwards because we're used to applying our setting spray at the end of our makeup, but just give it a try. Now I'm shining, so I'm just going to take a little bit of our shine control powder, just put all over.
natural lip that lasts
To finish things off, I'm going to use some of my lip & cheek product, and I just like to blot this onto my lips for a little flush of color. I feel like a flush of color just lasts a lot longer. It looks a lot more natural, and if it starts to fade, it's not as noticeable as if I am wearing a full on lip or anything.
