sabrina carpenter inspired makeup tutorial using my subtl stak
hey, beauties! welcome back to the subtl youtube channel. today, i'm taking on the challenge of recreating Sabrina Carpenter's signature makeup look. if you're not familiar, Sabrina is an up-and-coming pop star with an adorable aesthetic, fantastic music, and a makeup style that i absolutely adore. her go-to look features winged liner, a vibrant pinky rosy cheek, and a touch of shimmer on the eyes. let's dive into this fun and exciting makeup journey!
base glow
Sabrina flaunts a youthful, glowy base. for this, i'm using nars light reflecting foundation in deauville. lately, i've been mixing it with supergoop glow screen for a sheer look. applied with a damp beauty blender, i skip foundation on my nose, embracing the natural freckles for a more authentic vibe.
moving on to concealer (shade 003N), i'm covering any dark circles and using it as an eyeshadow base. Sabrina's eyeshadow varies, but it typically leans towards a lighter, pinky or gold shimmery base.
soft contouring
Sabrina avoids harsh contouring, aiming for an all-over warmth and glow. using a darker concealer (017W), i opt for a more easily blendable option. using the stippling brush from the 4 piece brush set, i blend the product gently, achieving a soft, radiant look. the goal here is not precision but an overall warmth.
blush brilliance
Sabrina is generous with blush, often bringing it up over the nose for a rounded effect. i mix hibiscus highway lip and cheek with espresso martini, a bronzy dark cream highlighter, creating a bronzy blush. this combination adds a perfect touch of rosy glow.
bushy brows
sabrina rocks a bushier brow, so i play with my brows to mimic the effect, even though mine aren't naturally thick. embrace the illusion!
shimmery eyes
for the eyes, sabrina's look includes a shimmery finish. i use the lighter color in the cruise eyeshadow duo on the sides, leaving space for shimmer in the middle. using a dampened brush and jelly, the shimmery shade, the eyes pop with glamour.
subtl eyeliner
sabrina often sports a cat eye with eyeliner. opting for a softer look, i use the dark brown in the dune duo, applied with a thin, wet brush. this softer eyeliner with eyeshadow is forgiving and flattering.
lips to love
sabrina's lips often feature a bronzy color, so i opt for auburn adventure lip and cheek mixed with hibiscus highway. the liner is auburn adventure, applied with a thin brush, and then blended with my fingers for a perfect lip combo. a touch more cheek color ties everything together.
final touches
sabrina finishes with a super shiny gloss, so i use summer friday's lip butter balm for a glossy, polished look.
do i resemble sabrina carpenter? maybe not entirely, but i'm loving how this makeup look turned out—cohesive, pretty, and not too over-the-top. don't forget to subscribe, and drop a comment below suggesting which celebrity look i should recreate next. thanks for joining me on this makeup adventure. bye, lovelies!
