my quick and easy holiday makeup look
hey friends, welcome back to the subtl youtube channel! with only 15 minutes on the clock, I'm gearing up for a festive holiday party with friends. join me as i share some speedy tips on achieving a dazzling holiday makeup look perfect for christmas or new year's. let's dive into this quick and easy holiday transformation!
foundation and base glow
i start with the nars light reflecting foundation in deauville and fiji. for a sheer look with added shimmer and hydration, i mix in a bit of the super goop glow screen. using a damp beauty blender, i layer it effortlessly over my existing makeup for that perfect glow.
quick contouring and bronzing
in the interest of speed, I grab the fenty contour sticks (amber suede for contour and mocha for bronzer) and swiftly contour my nose and jawline. normally I would use a darker subtl concealer shade for this, but I'm in a rush and these are so fast. after my contour is done, I reach for my subtl concealer to touch up and conceal any blemishes and under my eyes.
blush and highlight harmony
for my cheeks, I'm opting for the terracotta tour guide lip and cheek paired with the rosé cream highlighter. i like to apply them simultaneously for a beautiful blend. using a stippling brush from the four-piece set and my fingers, i achieve that seamless finish.
wintertime bronzing
I'm quickly enhancing my glow with the leche bronzer and the large brush from the four-piece set. a lighter bronzer allows for gradual build-up, ideal for achieving that subtl winter glow.
shimmering eyeshadow magic
now it's time to create a festive eye look using the eyeshadow combination of takeoff and dune. i apply the matte shade of takeoff in my crease and then enhance it with the shimmer shade from dune, using a wet brush for the ultimate shimmer effect.
subtl eyeliner and brows
now it's time for a quick and forgiving loose winged liner using the matte brown shade from the dune eyeshadow duo. filling in my brows and applying a touch of shine control powder completes the eye makeup effortlessly.
perfect holiday lips
for the lips, I'm using auburn adventure as a lip liner and then filling in with terracotta tour guide. adding a touch of vaseline lip for glossiness, i achieve that perfect holiday lip.
final touches & I'm ready to go!
i finish off the look with some more loose eyeliner above the eyes using dune for that extra pop. the final result is a festive, glowing look ready for your holiday celebration. now, i'm off to get changed for the party, and i won't forget to pack my subtl stak for any necessary touch-ups throughout the night.
thanks for joining me on this quick holiday makeup journey! happy holidays, everyone!
