Combat dry skin with an avocado mask
If you’re still battling off dry skin from the winter, or just typically have skin that’s on the dry or sensitive side, this mask is for you. This quick and easy avocado mask includes 3 easy ingredients you can grab right from the kitchen or the nearest grocery store to moisturize and soothe your skin to a healthy glow.
What you’ll need:
½ ripe avocado — moisturizing
2 tbsp of honey — soothing properties
½ tsp coconut oil — hydrating
What you’ll do:
Wash your face with a warm washcloth to open up your pores
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the coconut oil in the microwave for 15-20 seconds or until it melts
Add in the other ingredients, mixing until fully blended
Let the face mask sit for about 15 minutes so the coconut oil can start to re-solidify, making it easier to spread onto your face
Apply the mask all over your face
Let the face mask sit for 20-30 minutes, then rinse it off with warm water

¼ cup of mashed strawberries — contains salicylic acid for acne-prone skin
2 tbsp of lemon juice — helps tighten pores
1 tbsp of yogurt — antibiotic properties
1 tbsp of raw honey — soothing properties
What you’ll do:
Smash the strawberries in a bowl with the back of a fork until fully mashed
Add the other ingredients to the bowl, and stir to combine
Apply the mask to the face, and leave it on for 15 minutes
