today Keira uses her stack to add some drama and go from a day to night look! this is why the subtl stak was created - to fit into your everyday life, no matter what that looks like!
heading out for the evening: a quick makeup touch-up
hey there! I'm heading out for a dinner event, and while I did my makeup earlier today using the starter stak, it's time for a touch-up as the night sets in. let me walk you through how I do a speedy makeup refresh when my initial look has been sitting for a while, and I'm pressed for time.
status check
my earlier makeup held up well, but a bit of touching up is in order. I'll be focusing on lip and cheek, highlighter, a touch of bronzer, and maybe a dash of eyeliner. if time permits, I might even show you my quick eyeliner routine. let's get started!
adding depth with bronzer
to enhance my look from the morning featuring the starter stak, I'm introducing a few more products. starting with bronzer, I'm opting for "latte" this time to give my evening look a darker, nighttime vibe. I'll apply it on my cheeks, chin, and the sides of my nose for an instant tan effect.
radiance boost with highlighter
next up, the cream highlighter in "rosé." I'm a big fan of this product and often use it during the day. for the evening touch-up, it adds an extra glow, and its rosy tint eliminates the need for additional blush. a little under the eyes for that radiant finish, and I'm feeling positively luminous.
eyes that pop: making my own eyeliner
while my earlier eyeshadow consisted of bronzer and powder highlighter, I'm amping up the drama for the night with some "eyeliner". using a thin brush (originally for lips but versatile enough), I dip the edge into the dune eyeshadow duo. this powder liner stays put throughout the day and night, and the best part is, it's nearly impossible to mess up! a quick addition of brown shimmer to the lids for some sparkle, and I'm ready to go.
perfecting lips and cheeks
now onto the lip and cheek. I'm using the same trusty skinny brush for precise application. if you're into lip liners, a brush like this works wonders for applying lip and cheek as a liner. a swipe of the same tint all over my lips makes them look full, and a touch to the nose completes the look.
oh, almost forgot about the shine control. it's still warm here, and I've gotten a tad shiny. a quick fix with the dry brush cleaner to use up the bronzer, and a dab of shine control – problem solved.
hold on, a last-minute realization – a bit more concealer under the eyes and a quick brow fluff. there we go, ready for the night!
glow on the go
the beautiful thing about subtl is its compact size, fitting right in the palm of my hand. perfect for on-the-go touch-ups without the need for a bathroom. this routine is my go-to for events, dinners, or weddings – no fuss, just fabulous.
