‘Tis the season to be… busy… very busy. With so much going on during the holidays, planning out your looks for different events and parties you have scheduled is a great way to minimize your stress levels and get the most out of your glam! Pull out your notepads and prepare for the ultimate fashion tips and beauty tricks to try out this holiday season!
Go classic for family holiday get-togethers
There’s nothing like wearing a cozy sweater during the holidays (okay, it’s really just to hide my carb-induced food baby). This year, I’m opting for my favorite, slightly cropped white fuzzy sweater, high-waisted jeans, and slide on leather shoes to give me the perfect balance of trendy fashion meets up-scale cozy. When you rock a classic red lip, it’s bound to be the star of the show, and this holiday season, I’m rockin’ in red around the Christmas tree!
What I used:
- Arlington Cream Concealer under eyes and as an eye primer
- Riveting Red Lip Cheek on lips and cheeks
- Cool Contour Bronzer on cheeks and face contour
- With your fingertip, apply your shade of cream concealer to your under eye area, dabbing in gently. You can also use a brush or applicator to blend in the concealer for full-face coverage.
- Apply the same product to the lids of your eyes to prevent oil buildup and maintain natural, yet matte lid coverage.
- With a brush or applicator, apply the bronzer to the tops of your cheekbones, blending in an upward motion.
- Outline the sides of your nose with a thin layer of bronzer, blending in gently with your fingertip or a small brush.
- Using a lip applicator, apply the Lip Cheek to your lips, rubbing in until fully blended (I used a clear gloss on top for this look to accentuate the plumpness and vibrant color).
- Using your fingertip, dab a very small amount of the Lip Cheek to the balls of your cheeks, rubbing up the length of your cheek towards your temple until fully blended.
Pro Tip: Don’t have what you need to achieve this look? The Holiday Set features all the brushes you need to recreate this holiday look, from concealer to lip application and then some! It also includes the Riveting Red Lip Cheek, Cool Bronzer, and a Highlighter!
Give off neutral shades for Friendsgiving
Friendsgiving is a yearly tradition we all love. This year may be downsized and look a little differently, but having a safe, lowkey get together amongst some of your closest besties filled with good food, games, and good company also means a good outfit—and makeup to match! I love embracing neutral shades during November—using both lighter and darker shades of brown gives you the perfect “pop” in all the right places.
What I used:
- Arlington Cream Concealer under eyes and as an eye primer
- Warm Glow Bronzer for cheeks, face contour, and eyeshadow
- Dusty Rose Lip Cheek and Mauve Lip Cheek blend on lips
- Mauve Lip Cheek for blush on cheeks
- Rosé Highlighter for cheek highlight
- With your fingertip, apply your shade of cream concealer to your under eye area, dabbing in gently. You can also use a brush or applicator to blend in the concealer for full-face coverage.
- Apply the same product to the lids of your eyes to prevent oil buildup and maintain natural, yet matte lid coverage.
- With a brush or applicator, apply the bronzer to the tops of your cheekbones, blending in an upward motion.
- Outline the sides of your nose with a thin layer of bronzer, blending in gently with your fingertip or a small brush.
- With the same product, apply to your eyelids with an eyeshadow brush.
- Using a lip applicator, apply both Lip Cheeks to your lips, rubbing in until fully blended.
- Apply the Mauve Lip Cheek to the balls of your cheeks to give off a slight natural blush.
- With a brush, apply and blend the Rosé Highlighter from the tops of your cheek bones to your temples, directly above/in front of your bronzer.

Embrace your natural beauty during holiday errands/bake night
Sometimes it feels like holiday errands are endless… but when they result in a fun bake night or shopping haul, it’s well-worth the chaos. To prep for a bake night (and a Target haul, let’s be honest), the more casual and comfy, the better. Wear something comfortable like a looser fit t-shirt or flannel that still gives off those fall vibes, put on your favorite hat, and add a subtle hint of natural-looking makeup to complete your out-and-about glam.
What I used:
- Arlington Cream Concealer for under eyes, eye primer, and spot treatment
- Mauve Lip Cheek on lips and as a slight blush on my cheeks
- (I opted to add some winged eyeliner and mascara, but neither are necessary!)
- Shine Control Powder—for nose and upper lip shine while on-the-go
- With your fingertip, apply your shade of cream concealer to your under eye area, dabbing in gently.
- Apply the same product to the lids of your eyes to prevent oil buildup and maintain natural, yet matte lid coverage.
- Dab the concealer over any trouble areas—for me, I dab on the sides of my nose, and a slight dab on top as well.
- Apply the Mauve Lip Cheek to your lips for a subtle pop of color, then to the balls of your cheeks to give off a slight natural blush.
- Throughout the day, use your Subtl applicator to dust any oily areas of the skin with your Shine Control Powder to maintain a fresh look!
