The Better Skin Company
This brand was founded by Natalya Rachkova, an esthetician who emigrated to the U.S. from Uzbekistan, and beauty industry veteran Murphy Bishop II, who is an Alabama native. What started out as a home-cooked skin cream turned into what is now The Better Skin Co. Mirakle Cream that’s sold in Ulta stores all over the country.

Mielle Organics
Mielle’s founder, Monique Rodriguez spent nine years as a registered nurse before starting her own business in 2014. She wanted to use her background in science to help every woman achieve healthy and beautiful hair through strand-loving natural ingredients that are proven to be effective on all hair types. Now you can find their hair, skincare, and wellness products in Target and online.

Burt’s Bees
In addition to being made in the USA, Burt’s Bees is dedicated to conservation, responsible sourcing, and natural ingredients. Burt Shavitz and Roxanne Quimby founded it in the 1980s after leaving their lives in NYC and San Francisco to enjoy the wilderness of Maine. They started selling their famous lip balm, and now create everything from body wash to makeup remover.

Àuda.B
This luxury vegan nail lacquer brand was founded by Boston-based Samara Walker. She wanted to incorporate beauty technology, inclusivity, and fashion into a business of her own, which is why she created Àuda.B. She’s also been working on a new app that will help diverse beauty and wellness professionals to manage and scale their business through embedded: AI Analytics, POS System, Calendar Management, and more.

Subtl Beauty
Our founder, Rachel Reid, came up with the idea for Subtl after spending her post-grad years traveling for work and juggling the various responsibilities of a busy young adult. She needed a makeup product that fit her modern millenial lifestyle, so she decided to create the solution herself. Now Subtl Beauty is based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where we’ve been thriving and growing since 2018.

This vegan and cruelty-free clean beauty brand was founded by Brook Harvey-Taylor when she started selling her homemade perfumes at fairs and festivals in Eugene, Oregon. These days Pacifica carries a wide array of non-toxic solutions for virtually every aspect of your beauty routine.

KNC Beauty
On a trip to Toko Japan, KNC Beauty founder Kristen Noel Crawley was inspired by a wall of lip-masks and decided that she wanted to create the first all-natural lip mask on the market. The KNC Beauty lip and eye masks quickly became a favorite among Hollywood celebs and have since won countless awards for being the best in beauty.

Lemonhead.LA
We saved the sparkliest for last! This LA-based brand was founded by MUA Megan Dugan in 2016 as the official “glitter for adults.” Lemonhead is known for its Spacepaste and Spacejam that lets you apply vibrant glitter without the mess and potential fallout. Honestly, who doesn’t need a little more glitter in their life?
