hey guys, it’s keira! welcome back to the subtl youtube channel. today, i’m super excited to try out the viral vacation stak that our founder rachel posted on tiktok. this stak has garnered over 2.5 million views, and people are absolutely loving it! it’s a minimalist yet stunning combination of products, perfect for that sun-kissed vacation vibe. i haven’t tried this specific combo yet, so let’s dive into it together.
what’s in the vacation stak?
the stak includes:
- zestination coco lip balm: a super hydrating balm with notes of vanilla and lime.
- concealer: a staple for flawless skin.
- bronzer: adds that perfect sun-kissed glow.
- cream highlighter in champagne: a beautiful gold-champagne shade.
- hibiscus highway lip and cheek: a bright, fun color perfect for adding a pop.
step 1: lip balm
start with the zestination coco lip balm. it smells amazing and is incredibly hydrating. this lip balm is my absolute favorite from subtl – it’s perfect for keeping your lips moisturized and smooth.
step 2: concealer
next, apply the concealer. traveling can wreak havoc on your skin, and concealer is essential for covering up any blemishes or redness. i’m using shades 003N and 004N to match my slightly tanned summer skin. the subtl beauty concealer is lightweight yet provides excellent coverage, making it perfect for vacation.
step 3: bronzer
Rachel used the latte bronzer in her stak, but since i’m traveling and don’t have it with me, i’m using leche. apply the bronzer with a fluffy brush from the four-piece brush set. it adds a lovely glow and warmth to the face. don’t forget to apply some bronzer to your nose and lids for that cohesive sun-kissed look.
step 4: hibiscus highway lip and cheek
hibiscus highway may seem bright initially, but it’s gorgeous once applied. dab a bit on your cheeks and nose for that fresh, sun-kissed appearance. this product doubles as a lip color, adding a vibrant pop to your look.
step 5: cream highlighter in champagne
apply the cream highlighter to the high points of your face – cheekbones, brow bones, nose, and even your lids. this champagne shade adds a beautiful glow, perfect for catching the light and enhancing your features.
step 6: finishing touches
finish your look with some mascara. i’m using the l’oréal voluminous mascara in brown, which is a subtle yet effective choice for blue eyes and perfect for a vacation look. add a little more concealer if needed to cover any remaining blemishes.

and there you have it – a gorgeous, glowy makeup look using the viral vacation stak. this minimalist approach is perfect for vacation, offering a natural yet polished appearance. during the day, you can stick to the lip balm for a casual look, and for dinner, add hibiscus highway and mascara for a bit more drama.
