my soft yet glamorous holiday look
hey y'all, it's Niara Alexis, and today I'm thrilled to share this soft yet glamorous holiday makeup look using my favorite subtl stak. let's dive right into the details!
prepping the canvas
before diving into the makeup, it's crucial to start with a well-moisturized face. regardless of your skin type, don't skip this step. it ensures a flawless finish and enhances the longevity of your makeup. for extended wear, add a layer of primer.
spot concealing for a perfect base
begin with spot concealing using the concealer –– I'm shade 017W. use your finger to apply and cover any areas that need a little extra attention. for a flawless canvas, address concerns like dark circles and uneven skin tone.
layering cream products
for long-lasting makeup, layering is key. start with cream blush, like Terracotta Tour Guide lip and cheek. applying cream products while your face is still wet ensures seamless blending. follow up with Rosé cream highlighter for a beautiful glow at the high points of your cheeks.
setting the base
once the cream products are in place, set your face with a dusting of shine control powder. this step ensures that your makeup stays put throughout your holiday festivities.
adding color and dimension
bring a pop of color to your cheeks with Pink in a Pinch powder blush. its vibrant pink hue complements various skin tones, providing a natural and lively appearance. follow up with Cocoa bronzer for added warmth. apply it strategically, ensuring it meets the blush at the hollows of your cheeks and adds a touch to your forehead.
contouring with bronzer
take advantage of the pigmented Cocoa bronzer to contour your nose. use a slim brush to apply it along the sides and blend for a defined yet natural look. extend the bronzer application to your crease as eyeshadow for an effortlessly cohesive appearance.
eyeshadow for a soft glam effect
opt for the Takeoff eyeshadow duo and apply it with your finger for a soft, bronzy shimmer on the lids. the cocoa bronzer in the crease adds a natural glam touch. this easy eyeshadow look is perfect for any occasion, really.
powder highlight for that extra glow
finish off the look with a touch of Champagne highlighter. use your finger to delicately apply it to the high points of your face, providing a radiant finish. a dab in the corner of your eyes and along the nose bridge adds a subtle yet effective highlight.
final touches
lightly blend the highlighter for a seamless finish. the result is a soft glam holiday look that's both sophisticated and festive!
