@subtlbeauty Ok let us know… what’s the craziest place you’ve used your stak!? ⬇️#mommakeup #cleanmakeup #makeuponthego #minimalmakeup #makeupminimalist #subtlbeauty #subtlstak ♬ original sound - Subtl Beauty
doing my makeup in the backseat of the car on the way to my baby's doctor's appointment is a situation I never anticipated when I first started using my subtl stak. while I've taken my stak to various places, this experience might just top the list. we all know how it feels to be a passenger princess, but once you become a mom, especially with your first baby, you graduate to the rank of a backseat princess.
with my entire household under the weather, these past few days have been a whirlwind. to keep it real, it's been quite a challenge. so, when we received the call that there was an available slot for my son's doctor's appointment, we had to leave immediately. i found myself looking like a hot mess so i thought, "why not grab my trusty subtl stak?" after all, this stack is designed for on-the-go makeup application, offering unparalled simplicity and convenience.
for those of you who may not be familiar, subtl has been around for a while, but recently, they unveiled their new and improved stack 2.0, and i must say, it exceeded my expectations. the stack's little brush, which i primarily use for other purposes, surprisingly did a great job for eyeshadow in a pinch!
the subtl stak is entirely customizable, but the contents you see here are part of the starter stak, which i've conveniently linked below. the only addition i made that doesn't come with the starter stak is the dry brush cleaner, a handy tool for keeping your brush fresh between uses. the lid also contains a mirror, a feature that comes standard with every purchase and has proven to be incredibly useful.
the dry brush cleaner is a game-changer, allowing me to use the same brush for multiple products without worrying about mixing them together. however, i do prefer using my fingers for applying concealer and lip and cheek products; it simply yields better results. i'm a big fan of cream lip and cheek products, and they're incredibly convenient for touch-ups on the go.
one of the standout features of the subtl stak is its portability. gone are the days of lugging around an entire makeup bag or multiple brushes. this compact stack fits snugly into my little pouch, which, in turn, fits perfectly into my diaper bag – a match made in mom heaven.
what sets subtl apart is its commitment to clean beauty. all their products are free from harmful ingredients, so i feel good about using them around my baby. they're also vegan, cruelty-free, talc-free, paraben-free, and fragrance-free – ticking all the right boxes for conscious beauty enthusiasts.
and there you have it – the final look. if you've had a similar experience or an even more adventurous one with your subtl stack, i'd love to hear about it in the comments. don't be afraid share your tales of makeup application in unexpected places – we've all been there!
