The cookies can wait—save your ginger for a gingerbread exfoliating face mask

WARNING: This face mask smells so good, you MAY be tempted to eat it (we highly advise you not to). The yummy smells of Christmas treats combined with natural, key ingredients to help exfoliate your skin and rid it of those pesky dead skin cells is the perfect combo to combat stress this holiday season.

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 ½ tbsp of cinnamon 
  • 1 tbsp of ginger powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp of honey
  • ½ cup of oats
  • ½ tbsp of turmeric
  • 1-2 spoonfuls of Greek yogurt
What you’ll do:
  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients, mixing well into a thick paste
  • Spread a thin layer of the mixture onto your face, using your fingertips (avoid eye area)
  • Leave on for up to 20 minutes, then wash off thoroughly with warm water

Santa called—you’re on the nice list this year, and what better way to treat yo’ self than with a holiday-themed body scrub?! This DIY scrub is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and natural ingredients that will make your stressed out skin soft and smooth as butter.

What you’ll need:

  • ½ cup of raw sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp of coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp of vanilla (or 2 drops of vanilla essential oils)
What you’ll do:
  • Combine all ingredients into a large bowl, mix until fully blended
  • Gently rub onto your face and neck in circular motions
  • Rinse with warm water (and a washcloth if needed)

  • Using your index finger, apply the mixture to clean lips, rubbing in a circular motion
  • Rinse off with warm water (use a washcloth if needed)
