3 DIY Fall Face Masks

Fall is officially here, and while we’re so excited for the pumpkin spiced lattes and cozy sweaters, it also means our skin is transitioning into its Fall phase, too. We’ve got the scoop (pumpkin flavored, of course) on three different DIY masks that infuse all your favorite autumn flavors for all different skin needs! Put on your favorite flannel, pour a glass of wine (or two), and dive into these DIY Fall face masks that you and your skin both deserve!

Honey and Cinnamon Face Mask

Dry, dull skin? Meet this cinnamon and honey face mask!

There’s not much we hate more than dry, dull skin when the temperature drops, and honey this face mask is the cure… literally! The powers of cinnamon and honey combine to give your face the hydration, softness and plumpness it needs during the dry, colder days of Fall.

What you’ll need:

  1. 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to plump skin and help prevent fine lines
  2. 2 tablespoons of honey to moisturize the skin
What you’ll do:
  1. Mix ingredients together in a small bowl until blended thoroughly
  2. Apply the mixture to your face evenly for full coverage
  3. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Rinse with lukewarm water

Our pro tip: If dry skin is affecting your makeup routine, mix your favorite moisturizer with equal parts of your Subtl Beauty Hydrating Cream Concealer to create a tinted moisturizer that provides the coverage you need while keeping your skin hydrated and smooth!

Oatmeal and Apple Cider Vinegar Face Mask

Looking to exfoliate your skin? Try oatmeal with apple cider vinegar.

Both oatmeal and apple cider vinegar are widely regarded as popular and effective staples for skin care. Whether you have oily skin or clogged pores that need a bit of a detox, this face mask will help to draw out excess oil and dirt, remove dead skin cells, and tighten up the skin.

What you’ll need:

  1. 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to unclog pores and help balance pH levels in skin
  2. ¼ cup of oatmeal for oil-absorption and anti-inflammatory exfoliation
  3. ¼ cup of warm water
What you’ll do:
  1. Mix ingredients well into a bowl
  2. Apply to clean face for 5 minutes
  3. Remove with a warm washcloth

Our pro tip:If your lips tend to dry out in the Fall too, try this DIY brown sugar lip scrub to get softer, supple lips!

Pumpkin Face Mask

Looking to brighten up your skin? This pumpkin face mask will do the trick.

Did you know that pumpkin contains vitamins A, C and E, as well as antioxidants that are great for managing sun damage and fine lines? Incorporating pumpkin into your face mask has so many benefits to keep your face bright and glowy!

What you’ll need:

  1. ½ cup of pureed pumpkin for brightening
  2. 1 raw egg to firm your skin and minimize the look of pores
  3. ½ teaspoon honey to moisturize your skin
What you’ll do:
  1. Mix all ingredients into a mixing bowl or food processor and blend until smooth
  2. Apply to clean face for 15 to 20 minutes
  3. Rinse with warm water
